About me
I come from the Allgäu region. The Allgäu with its rich and vibrant colours and a green that can only be found there on the lush pastures. The Allgäu with its places of power, its cows and its ‘moo hills’. Where no word is spoken too many, but also none too few. Where everything makes sense, or you leave it alone. That has shaped me, sustained me and allowed me to grow. Because good design always has to do with courage. The courage to do without everything that is not necessary. Because less is always more, even in our craft.
Design must fit like a tailor-made dress or suit. It must suit the wearer. And it must ‘look good’, as we say in the Allgäu region. Where women and men are born with skis on their feet and our cows are still the most beautiful animals in the world.

My great love for my profession, the wonderful interaction with people and the daily challenge of always living up to the expectations of my clients and myself has now lasted for more than twenty years. With all the ups and downs, with all the frustration and all the joy. And the realisation that not a single day goes by without learning something new.
